Pastor Louis Walton and Pastor Gloria Walton hold the record for being the First African-Americans to be Founders and Pastors of an Assemblies of God church in the United States of America.
  
Reverend Louis E. Walton is an Ordained Minister with the Assemblies of God; and has served as Senior Pastor of Trinity Tabernacle Assembly of God in Minneapolis, Minnesota since January 1970.

Reverend Gloria J. Walton is an Ordained Minister with the Assemblies of God and serves as Pastor of Trinity Tabernacle Assembly of God since January 1970. 

Reverend Louis Walton graduated from North Central Bible College (Now North Central University).  He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Bible and Theology.  He has received many awards down through the year. 
Some awards are The Servant Leadership Award from the Minnesota Chapter of the International Black Women's Congress on June 22, 2002; the Faith Servant Award from the National Black Fellowship of the Assemblies of God in 2005; Appreciation for Years of Service Award from the National Black Fellowship of the Assemblies of God in 2007.

Pastor Walton is a Presbyter (similar to a Bishop position) of the Inner Urban Section comprised of 21 churches in the Minnesota District of the Assemblies of God. 

Pastor Gloria Walton is an Ordained Minister with the Assemblies of God.  Presently, she serves as the Co-Pastor of Trinity Tabernacle.  She is very active in full time ministry.  She was presented a Certificate of Appreciation Award for Teaching at the Minnesota Urban Ministry Institute in 1985; She received a Servant Leadership Award on June 31, 2003 from the Minnesota Chapter of the International Black Women's Congress; and the WE CARE for the Children Award presented by the North American Council on Adoptable Children on November 21, 2004; and Recognition and Appreciation for many years of dedicated and faithful service in fulfilling the Commission Command of Jesus Christ Award by the National Black Fellowship of the Assemblies of God Inner City Workers Conference 2004 in Knoxville, TN.

She is married to Pastor Walton since August 23, 1965. She is the biological mother of (4) children that consist of Lisa (Melvin), Louis Jr. (Lori), Timothy and Teresa.

She preaches and teaches, is a workshop speaker, an events speaker; She does Marriage and Family Counseling along with Drug Counseling.  She is a musician and singer.  She is the Inner Urban Section Minnesota Representative for the Assemblies of God Bridging The Gap.

Biblical Education Global University. She holds an Associate in Arts Degree, University of Minnesota; and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Sociology from the University of Minnesota.
Their travels include most of the United States, Hawaii, Israel and Rome.
